Safety

The Dainese Scout 2 Evo Gore-Tex Gloves are extremely durable, thanks to the strategic placement of goatskin leather and the palm slider. These gloves also come with Dainese techno protectors hidden behind the Amica Suede on the fingers’ knuckles and joints. There is also Amica Suede located on the palm. This material is highly abrasion-resistant. This combination of safety features gives these gloves a CE level 1 approval.

Comfort

Despite the thickness, they allow you to make dextrous movements and don’t feel constricting in the slightest. This paired with the breathable and waterproof Gore-Tex membrane and the thermal Primaloft padding means that your hands will stay warm and sweat-free, giving these gloves a superior sense of comfort and reliability. The only downside is that after riding for a long time in icy conditions, your fingertips can get cold. Thankfully, you can rectify this by wearing silk inner gloves.

These gloves come with pre-curved fingers, which reduce strain while riding, especially over long distances. Additionally, elastic inserts and soft inserts greatly increase comfort and flexibility, working in tandem with the pre-curved fingers. There is an excellent balance between safety and comfort.

An adjustable cuff strap adds to the versatility of these gloves, allowing you to adjust the fit and even hold the ends of your sleeves in place. This insulates the inside of your jacket, more effectively regulating your core body temperature on cold days. The addition of a tightening strap makes this process much easier.

Features

These gloves also include features that add even more convenience to your daily commute, such as a touch-screen compatible fingertip and a Dainese visor wiper located on the left thumb. This allows you to keep your gloves on while using your phone. Plus, you can wipe any precipitation built up on the outside of your visor while riding with a quick swipe, leaving no smudges or marks.

Final Thoughts

There are not many gloves that are capable of competing with the Dainese Scout 2 Gore-Tex gloves. The excellent balance between safety and comfort, combined with the excellent insulation capabilities and top-of-the-line waterproofing, adds to being one of the best performing winter-oriented gloves on the market.
